These lovely spring flowers look great, are quick to make and an excellent way to practice crochet stitches!
Instructions:
1. Print off ‘crochet and paper flowers garland printable pdf
2. Cut out 12 circles
3. With a large hole punch (I use a 3/16” size), punch holes out around circle
Now it’s time to crochet!
Note: I like to flip my circle so that any printed lines are at the back of my crochet stitches
(Round 1)Take your hook, yarn, paper circle, and choose a starting hole. pull yarn through hole with your hook, yo, pull through loop. Sc in first hole, ch 3, sc in next hole, ch 3, repeat around the circle (6 more times), ch 3, sl st in first sc
(Round 2)Ch 1, *in each ch sp: hdc,dc, tr, dc, hdc, slst in next st (the sc made in the hole last round), repeat from * all the way around the circle (8 ‘petals’ total), sl st into first ch
Fasten off (cut the string a couple inches away, take the end of the string and pull it through the loop) weave in the ends (take a large needle and weave the string through the crochet stitches in one of the petals on the backside)
String your ribbon through two top holes using large knitting needle to string up your flowers as a garland
